Kuvio ("we", "us", "our") operates Kuvio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service. By using Kuvio, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and phone number. When you use the dashboard, we collect information about the websites you create, including business names, images, service descriptions, and team details. We also collect usage data such as page views, feature usage, and login events to improve the service.
2. Customer Inquiry Data
Pro plan users receive customer inquiries submitted through their published websites. These inquiries contain the name, email, phone number, and message of the person submitting the form. Inquiry data is stored in our database and is accessible only to the site owner through their dashboard. We also send email notifications to the site owner's registered email for each new inquiry.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve Kuvio, to send transactional emails (account confirmation, inquiry notifications, plan updates), to authenticate your identity, to enforce our Terms of Service, and to respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider, on servers in the European Union. We implement industry-standard security measures including Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with support for OAuth (Google) and email/password sign-in. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.
5. Email Communications
We send emails for account-related purposes: account approval/rejection notifications, inquiry notifications (Pro users), and service updates. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. Transactional emails (account and inquiry notifications) are required to provide the service and cannot be opted out of while you have an active account.
6. Cookies and Tracking
Kuvio uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and store your dashboard preferences (such as theme and layout settings). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Analytics, if used, are privacy-preserving and do not identify individual users.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide Kuvio: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Vercel (hosting). Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they process data. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data and website content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or we terminate your account, your data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and export your website content. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at aeeju15@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Children's Privacy
Kuvio is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
11. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of Kuvio after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
